it was great close to castle. what's more, i was very close to centre of town, edinburgh and theatre. the room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally comfortable with a sofa bed, central heating, and an iron. had a walk-in shower.

Noise from the building's stairwell and outside traffic was disruptive to our sleep. There was a lack of soundproofing, making it difficult to rest well.

The city views from Lovely Apartment Beneath Edinburgh Castle were absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of Edinburgh's iconic castle was a truly special experience. With two bedrooms, this apartment provided plenty of space for me and my travel companion. It was great to have that extra room to spread out and relax. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch. It was perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring the city, catching up on my favorite shows. Having a tea/coffee maker in the apartment was a huge bonus for a coffee lover like me. I enjoyed starting my mornings with a cup of coffee in the cozy seating area.

Personally, I found the showers a bit small and could have been more spacious for my liking. However, I understand that others might not mind this and still enjoy their stay.
